With the success of the Borchetta Bourbon Grand Prix (B/B GP) series came the demand for a more affordable Tennessee Bourbon product. We were excited for the opportunity to scale up our brown spirits program. We introduced Borchetta Bourbon Small Batch in June 2024 alongside our latest B/B GP bottle in time for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix.
The challenge with this project was to create a new branded product that stands alone from the B/B GP series bottle and honors the Borchetta family legacy and success in Nashville with Music, Motorsports, and Spirits.
The goal was to design something easily recognizable, timeless, and iconic so we incorporated the Nashville skyline. Every barrel is distilled in-house in two copper pot stills, one of which is located off Lower Broadway, the heart of downtown Nashville. Elements of open-wheel racing and musical notes are detailed in the gold filigree on the label and packaging.
My role on this project was to give art direction and guidance to my assistant designer Tara Williams while she conceptualized and designed the Nashville theme and skyline. Then I designed all the labeling and packaging around her glass art. We made a pretty good team collaborating on this project.

Nashville's Own True Craft Bourbon
All of our Award-Winning bourbons feature unique red, white, and blue varietal heirloom corns, locally grown within 5 miles of our distillery and milled on a restored 1950's stone mill. We cook with local Lynnville creek water, and 100% copper pot distill to create a full flavored bourbon. Our high corn recipe is rounded out with wheat and malted barley.

Single Barrel Pick Signature Series
We caught the attention of Fred Minnick in the 2024 Ascott Awards with our B/B GP series medals. He wanted to partner with us and do a limited signature single barrel pick of our Borchetta Bourbon. Fred selected our first Borchetta Bourbon Single Barrel featuring our locally grown heirloom red corn bourbon. This is also a personal favorite of mine. The bourbon has a beautiful redish hue and full bodied flavor. Very enjoyable to sip neat.
